MISSY  DeCAMP - Senior Project Advisor

Mary Stuart (“Missy”) DeCamp, Senior Associate with Pangburn International, has held senior positions in and out of nonprofits and government over the past thirty years. 

She has served as Deputy Social Secretary at The White House, Executive Assistant to Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan and Director of Corporate Affairs for the Economic Summit of Industrialized Nations.   Missy worked at The Council on Environmental Quality and at The Department of Commerce in the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service and as Director of the Office of Private Sector Initiatives in the Office of Business Liaison.

In her early career, she was on the staff of several Republican Conventions in positions as the Director of Delegation Services and the Director of Housing. 

 

Missy is originally from Wilton, Connecticut.  She is a Cum Laude graduate of The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York.  She attended St. Lawrence University and earned her Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude.  She was elected to Phi Alpha Theta National History Honorary Society. 

 

Missy has volunteered with Washington Latin Public Charter School, St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School, The Washington Antiques Show and Deerfield Academy. 

She and her husband David, who is active in commercial real estate, live in Washington, D.C.   They have two children: Emma, a young professional in San Francisco and Henry, a young professional in Boston.

JUDY  GUY - Senior Travel Advisor

With over 20 years of international travel, excursion, and program planning experience, Judy Guy has been accompanying Wendy Pangburn's international groups for over 25 years.

A seasoned, certified meetings professional, she has organized and managed travel programs across the seven continents, conducting and executing innovative and not-to-be-repeated events for several international organizations and clients.  Having worked directly for Wendy Pangburn for over eight years at the Chief Executives Organization, working with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and as an independent contractor for World Presidents Organization, she brings a wealth of knowledge and know-how to international travel programs.

Judy held the position of Director of Meetings and Conference Services for a nonprofit organization in Washington, DC, and today works as an independent contractor for domestic and international conferences and programs when client needs arise. 

 

She is often times on the Pangburn International travel team.  Judy is a University of Maryland graduate and resides in St. Mary's County, Maryland.

DEANNA  SIBBALD - Senior Travel Advisor

Deanna Sibbald has worked with Wendy Pangburn for over 15 years assisting with the creation and implementation of special nonprofit programs.  She is specifically an expert in leading executive travel programs to the Middle East. She is an experienced professional with a background in domestic and international event planning including working with high-level speakers, as well as, membership development. She served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Commission on the American Museum of Women’s History working with Wendy, the Commission’s Executive Director.

Prior to joining the Commission, Deanna spent 15 years working for Chief Executives Organization (CEO), a select community of prominent business leaders. During her tenure with CEO, she was hired by Wendy while Wendy served as Executive Director and served as CEO’s Director of Membership and Governance and Senior Adviser on International Expansion. As a member of CEO’s leadership team she was responsible for developing and executing strategies for membership recruitment, growth and retention with an emphasis on engagement through local events and programming outside the US. She also coordinated and executed many domestic and international high-level events.

From 1990-1997, Deanna worked for the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) – an important government agency responsible for the investigation of aviation and other modes of transportation. She worked in the Office of the Chairman and as a budget analyst. Deanna also spent many years doing freelance work for a Washington, DC, special events firm. Deanna graduated from the University of Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and psychology. She is also, with her husband Paul, an ice hockey parent.

JOSEPH SUAREZ - Senior Vice President

Joseph T.N. Suarez serves as a Senior Vice President at Pangburn International.  Joe and Wendy have worked together on and off for over 35 years and he plays a key role in the recruitment of diverse candidate pools for the firm’s executive search clientele.  

Joe is also an Executive Advisor to the global technology firm, Booz Allen Hamilton. He directs the firm's knowledge partnership with the US Naval Academy Cyber Center along with other USNA partnerships, including the intern, Summer STEM, Diversity Initiative, and Engineering and Weapons Capstone programs.

For 15 years, Joe served as Principal and Director with Booz Allen Hamilton, directing the firm's corporate philanthropy, sponsorships, and employee volunteer programs worldwide and helped develop and implement strategies around high-impact corporate-nonprofit partnerships and nonprofit Board engagement. 
 

Joe served as Director of The National Air and Space Society and Deputy Director of Development for the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution, where he directed, managed and coordinated the Museum’s $311 million-dollar capital campaign. 

He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Emeritus Board Member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, member of the Board of Visitors for the University of Maryland’s Center for Environmental Science and Board of Special Advisors to the U.S. World War One Centennial Commission. Joe serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Development and CSR Committees of the University of Maryland Medical System, a multi-billion-dollar enterprise managing 14 hospitals and over 25% of the State of Maryland's healthcare.

Joe is the recipient of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Washington D.C. Diversity Award, the COMPASS Leadership Award, the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund Award of Excellence, The Smithsonian Institution Robert Mills Medal, The American Red Cross Tiffany Manager’s Award, and was knighted and awarded the Order of Malta in recognition of his work for the American Red Cross’ international disaster relief efforts.
